Desert Movers LV Moving Coverage

What's Covered:
 * Loading & Unloading: We are responsible for damage to your belongings that occurs while our crew is loading or unloading the moving truck.

 * Furniture Insurance (While in Our Care): Your furniture is insured from the moment we load it until we unload it. However, please note:
   * Transit Coverage: We do not provide coverage for your belongings while they are in transit on the moving truck.

   * Limited Liability: Our liability for damaged or lost items is capped at $0.60 per pound, as determined by the US DOT weight standards. Sets or pairs of items will be valued individually.
   * Pressed Wood & Particle Board: Due to the fragile nature of these materials, we are not responsible for damage to furniture containing pressed wood or particle board. We will inspect all such furniture before moving it, but it is excluded from our insurance coverage.

Property Damage:
 * If any damage occurs to your property during the move, please notify the lead mover immediately. Failure to report damage before the movers leave may result in a denied claim.

Desert Movers LV does not offer additional insurance, but you can purchase coverage from a third-party provider to safeguard your belongings during the move. Most insurers require you to purchase the policy at least 48 hours before your moving date.
